About Us
Annie Fang
Annie was born and raised in sunny Southern California. She graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a BS degree in Cognitive Science (HCI). Upon graduation, she worked as a user experience designer for 2 years at an interactive agency where she was challenged to learn and apply user-centered design principles. As a user experience designer, Annie defined and created interactive systems based on user research, industry best practices, and business requirements. She is currently attending the University of Michigan, School of Information pursuing a Master of Science in Information specializing in Human-Computer Interaction. In her free time she enjoys shooting portrait photography.
Adrienne Klum
Adrienne spent the first six years of her life in Seattle, Washington, where she gained a love and an appreciation for the beautiful outdoors. She then moved to Michigan, where she would spend the majority of her adolescence sailing, skiing, hiking, exploring and soaking up the Michigan sun (when it comes out). Adrienne has a BFA from the University of Michigan in Graphic Design. Following graduation she started a graphic and web design business, Citronade Design, which continues to give her the incredible opportunity to work for small, independent businesses and organizations. Adrienne is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Information with a concentration in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Michigan. Adrienne loves design that is intuitive and empowers the user.
Mukunth “Moon” Ravi
Moon graduated from the University of Texas, Austin with a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a minor in Japanese Language. Having worked for IBM as a part-time software engineer (Co-op) for several years, he sought a career path conspired with disciplines less commonly associated with engineering. Thus he was borne to the path of Human Computer Interaction and eventually found his way to the School of Information at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor as an intrepid, eager HCI graduate student. Moon is primarily interested in cognition, perception, and interaction as they pertain to engineering and design with specific emphasis on pragmatic applications and games. His free time is spent playing video games, reading, exercising, and writing quixotic, third-person narratives.
Chris Wieland
Chris grew up in beautiful Petoskey, Michigan and graduated from Alma College with a BA degree in History. After graduation he took jobs ranging from substitute teacher, ski and snowboard technician, video store clerk, to even a technical writer writing lab reports, before moving to Ann Arbor where he has worked as a graphic and web designer for a small Internet retailer for the past 2 years. He is now also enrolled in the University of Michigan, School of Information pursuing a Masters of Science in Information with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction. Chris loves design that is beautiful to look at yet fun and easy to use.
